Dear Banxsters, Some great news for our community! As we work towards our mission of transitioning the world from Web2 to Web3, our ultimate aim is to improve BXX's scalability. We've hired some experienced new team members to help us achieve this, all with the focus of improving the token programme for our community and beyond! During October we welcomed 3 new team members. Simon Jones: Director Baanx Group, Head of Token, Loyalty and Rewards. Simon has joined the team in a new role, leading the token programme, loyalty and rewards. This role has become increasingly important as we continue to put more customers live. Simon’s background is in Finance and technology, having spent the first 10 years of his career in TradFi. He moved into VC focusing on early stage Fintech, Cybersecurity and crypto projects for a major US Endowment. He has been involved in advising a number of early stage projects in the Solana ecosystem and has been a team member at projects backed by Alameda Research, Jump Crypto, CMC, Sino Global and other leading investors in space. George Godsal: Strategic Advisor - Communications. Communications veteran George Godsal has joined the team in an advisory capacity. Specifically focusing on the token programme and developing the communication function as the programme enters an exciting new period with the launch of BXX+ and the go live on Ledger CL (amongst others). George was formerly global head of communications at crypto exchange BitMEX. Alongside his work with Baanx, George runs REKT Partners, a specialist communications consultancy focussed on the crypto sector. Bradley Cartledge: Sales Project Account Manager Bradley joined Baanx earlier this year. Working closely with the Global Sales team, his role involves reaching out and building relationships with prospective partners, as well as dealing with all clients - from inception to completion. He will also be assisting the BCD Development team in the Account and Project management of the client projects. Bradley's background in sales, business development and account management within financial services sectors will undoubtedly help to build and successfully launch the new BXX programme. Garth Howat, CEO of Baanx Group commented “We're in an important time in the development of Baanx and it is a testament to our success that we now welcome Bradley, Simon and George to the team.” We're sure you will join us all in welcoming Bradley, Simon and George to the team.
